Another trip to the beach…this time we went south to the OBX. This is our third trip to OBX, and we go every time with good friends. We have all known each other since high school. Every year I look forward to this vacation. In part because we go with our friends who are really like our family, almost better. And because the kids all get along so well. You don’t have to do too much parenting when your kids are entertained by other children. Plus there is just something about being at the beach, the stress and chaos of reality just does not irritate me as much there.
Part of what makes this trip so fun, is that we eat our way through this vacation…my good friend “J” is an fabulous cook; I have learned all my best cooking tips from her. This gal can go into my pantry and whip up an amazing meal out of almost nothing. Not too many people have that talent. I honestly take notes when I am around her.
I am still wading through the over 500 images I shot while we were there…but these are some of my favorites so far.
