The “D” Brothers

Hold onto your girls and watch out for the “D” brothers because they are some kind of wonderful!

I had the pleasure of spending a Sunday afternoon with these three extremely handsome young men and I wanted to pack them up and take them all home with me. They were awesome. Such great kids. All three so different, but so unique and interesting.

I should not even be looking at this session but I could not help myself!

Miss “C”

Miss “C” and I and met on the one day this past month that it actually rained! So our session was cut a bit short but I still manged to get some great images of her before the much needed rain. She was a bit shy and slow to warm up at first…but after awhile she was having fun. Mom said she is more of a tomboy so they borrowed a few dresses for our session. You would have never guessed that she not a regular dress wearer…she was so gorgeous in all her borrowed dresses.

Holiday Cards

This year I will be offering clients Holiday Cards. All cards are 5×7 flat cards. They come in a boxed set of 25 cards with envelopes. Clients should book their session before November 15th in order to get Cards printed before the Holiday Season.

Papaya

Today I met little miss “Papaya”…gotta love a redhead. Her folks told me she is know as Pebbles around the neighborhood. When they put her hair into a pony tail I instantly knew why. They were an awesome family to work with and we had a blast hanging out in one of DC’s beautiful urban parks. Here is your sneak peek Papaya…I mean Pebbles!

Workshop

This past weekend I had the honor of hostessing a photography workshop led by Skye Hardwick and hanging out with 25 other talented photographers who are just as passionate and excited about photography as I am. How fun is it when you find 25 other people who want to talk shop and never get that glazed look in their eyes?

I learned a lot about finding my style, and got some good tips on how to mange and run my business. I asked some friends to lend their kids out as models for all of us photograph. They all were the perfect models…cooperative, easy going, and up for anything. Even Cal and Eli got into it.

I did not get as much shooting time since I was trying to manage the paparazzi but I did mange to get off a few images.

Skye with Cal and Eli…I am so excited to have images of them, since they NEVER pose for me anymore
And “miss happy”. Never saw a child so happy to be photographed…I know it freaked her mom out quite a bit.
