Newborn

Is there anything more amazing that a brand new baby? This beautiful little newborn is the daughter of a good friend. I was so honored that her parents let me come and photograph her about 10 days after she arrived home. I was amazed how calm and relaxed both K and T are. And this little angel was too. Now don’t get me wrong, she had her moments when she was not a happy camper. But there was such a sense of peace and love. And that lead comes from the parents. They just let me come and do my thing. I loved it. I love that I can give my friend these images of her beautiful daughter.

Something tells me that this model is going to be a frequent flier on my site!

Sun flare for Seven

I have been trying to capture sun flare FOREVER. It is not as easy as one might think. In addition, daylight saving ended or started or what ever it just did on Sunday…there was not much of an opportunity to be outside as the sun was going down without freezing our butts off.

So this week Cal turned seven and I had to get the obligatory birthday portrait. Cant you tell he was so happy to participate? But I figured it out, I managed to capture the sun flare. These are not the greatest technically…but I love the little bit of sun flare I was able to catch. And this is so Cal right now. Cant help but love them.
