Princess A

Princess A and I met at her home and had a wonderful morning together where she demonstrated her most excellent twirling abilities.

And her babies “New” and “Sal”

Mr E.

I met up with Mr. E on Sunday morning and it was HOT! The dog days of summer have arrived, woof!

E happens to be a classmate and good friend of Cal. I love being able to get to know his friends on a one on one level. Neither Mr. E, I, nor his moms were too excited to be outside for too long…but luckily he lives in another one of those awesome Cleavland Park homes with amazing light. E is an amazing kid. Serious baseball fan, reads on a level three grades ahead of his class, and has a finicky cat named Newton.

We worked in some serious bribery to get Newton just to come sit near us, and cant you see the disdain he has for us silly humans?

can’t wait to see the others. thanks again for being such a pro!

Miss J.

Baby J and I spent a lovely morning today. And even thought it was hot and humid…she was never fussed once. She really is the definition of an easy baby.

Loved this one…like she was blowing us a kiss

Girls + Horses + Sunset = Beautiful

First off, if you recognize these two beauties…shhh! This is a surprise for their Dad for Fathers’ Day.

I met up with E and A yesterday evening just before sunset at the Rock Creek Horse Stables. I LOVE to photograph girls. As a mom of boys, it a breath of fresh air to hang out with girls and older girls to boot. I have been shooting so many little kids lately, I forgot how awesome it is to be with kids that you can have a real conversation with. These girls were so fun.

Miss E has the greatest laugh. She is so beautiful when she is laughing…and she loves to be a goof.

And Miss A has no idea how stunningly beautiful she is.

Beautiful light, beautiful horses, and beautiful subjects. It does not get much better than this.

Scooter boys

Lately I have been shooting so much for clients that I have to remember to shoot for myself. And just shoot my boys doing the things that they love. And right now they LOVE to scooter.

If you have not seen one of these electric scooters, you gotta check it out. They might even get a grown-up on a scooter again;-)
