Eli is incredibly adept at finding other uses for his hockey gear.

In case you could not tell, we are on stay-cation for Spring Break.
One way we are passing our time is we are on the hunt for the best slice of pizza in DC. So far we have tried 3 different spots. At the top of our list was to check out one of DC’s newest trends…food trucks. As an part-owner of a brick and mortar restaurant/bar I think it is tacky to park your truck right in front of a restaurant (as one such truck parks in front of Union Pub on occasion during the lunch rush). However, I am all for entrepreneurial ventures and I personally think food trucks are a great innovative way to upgrade the food choices here in town and I hope we see more of them!
We were following DC Slices on twitter for a few days and found them at the right time for a quick slice!
They got two thumbs up from my pizza connoisseurs!

Another lost tooth! Eli is losing one almost every other week these days. Losing your baby teeth is such a universal milestone for kids. It is the first real tangible sign that they are getting older and and growing up. I love recording this for my kiddos.

Hiding from me and my camera, using whatever is available is a non stop game

When I shoot, regardless of my subjects or my assignment, I am looking for the “story”. What is the story I want to tell visually?
Eli and Brie are like two peas in a pod in more ways than one. They both have this playful spirit and when they play together it is magical to watch.

Chores. This is a big topic in our house.
Who does what chores and should an allowance be included for their completion. Still an ongoing discussion if anyone has any thoughts.

Spring Break is here and we are on Stay-cation!
We started with a short bike trip to the Broad Branch Market for ice cream and then onto the park for a round of laser tag.
